For anyone interested - today I did 165 miles starting with full battery and as you can see my average mpg was 44.2 which is pretty good for a 2 tonne petrol suv IMHO and certainly better than I got out of the DS Rolling Eyes

If I had recharged after first leg it would of been a lot better

According to this I was using electric 56% of trip which is 92.4 miles Shocked

This is well over the claimed 32 miles and is due to regeneration when braking plus charging from ICE when running Mr. Green

Journey felt relaxed and comfortable Thumbs Up

As you can see first £40 tank is still half full after 480 miles Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

So what's happen to this thread, has it run out of steam a bit like Muddy's float ? Thud

Looks like I will have to start reading about Range Rover Sports now instead. Sad In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

I think it closed due to lack of interest Laughing

I was worried about this purchase - it's a big leap after so many LRs - buying a DS after 2 RRS was bad enough but I thought buying a Mitsy was a step too far however it's looking like I made the right choice Mr. Green

I've even stopped looking at Series and XKs for now because this is so cheap to run and comfortable I'm not sure I can live with 20 mpg in a cramped vehicle Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Ok - honeymoon over Embarassed

I'm trying to swap tyres as the milk float comes with summer tyres Evil or Very Mad

The only all season tyre available is VREDESTEIN QUATRAC 5 but reading reviews they're not great in the wet so that leaves 2 sets of tyres best option Sad

Rang two dealers to be told you can't swap tyres fitted until I pointed out in the handbook it says winter tyres are recommended in..... you guessed it - winter. At this point I was offered a set of matching alloys for £2674 - without tyres Shocked

In the handbook it shows 16" or 18" options but dealer says only 18" can be fitted - yeah right Rolling Eyes

So I go on net for half a day and find this in NL https://shop.mitsubishi-motors.nl/cat/band...t%2Fbanden with lots of options until I realise the price is per wheel not set Crying or Very sad

Looks like I swapped one useless dealer network for another useless dealer network Rolling Eyes

Still enjoying the PHEV though until it turns icy at least Laughing Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I had a look at the Dutch Mitsubishi site and by the looks of it the tyres are being sold as a set and not as individual tyres. They do indeed mention that cars that come with the 16" factory fitted can't have the 18" and vice versa.

For example this: https://shop.mitsubishi-motors.nl/product/...ander-phev - Is for a winter tyre set - ASX type rims with Hankook 255/55R18 tyres

If you need any help translating Dutch feel free to shoot me a message Thumbs Up

That's great Luckse Bow down

If that's a set then that is a great price and definitely cheaper than a UK set without tyres Mr. Green

Just need to find a way to get them here Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I just had a look on their website and unfortunately you can only pickup the wheels at a Mitsubishi dealership in The Netherlands.

But the PHEV is a very popular car in The Netherlands, so if you like I'll have a quick google tomorrow and see if there are any that would ship to the UK.
