Thanks for the reply, by doing a reset do you mean just remove the code? Cheers

So I wiped the fault code and it’s stayed off for a few days but this morning returned! Any body else have any ideas or is it time to go to Landrover?

I had this happen to me. Turned out to be a pressure sensor in the egr system. Replaced sensor and all good

PetesRRS did you get it sorted at Dealers? If so was it just a one day thing? The car seems to be driving fine, no issues.

Yes dealer fixed. There was an error code which pointed at sensor failure. Cannot recall error code now. Sensor had to be ordered delivered next day. There was no indication anything was wrong except for engine light on. Car appeared to be running fine

Just to let you know

LR ASSIST are the AA. Was told this when I called them out once by the LR assist guy that turned up he said we just get trained for land rovers but we are AA

So your best bet is to join AA They have all the diagnositic software Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply and the advice. Just out of curiosity which cover do you have, I was quoted 45 quid for the year does that sound about right? That’s just the basic package I believe

So had the car in the dealers today and as you said PeteRRS it was a sensor.

They also carried out the free vehicle health check. Results were -

Front anti roll bars bushes worn - They recommend getting sorted but nothing major. (Not covered by warranty as wear and tare)

Auxillary belt pulleys noise - Would need further investigation. (Any input by you guys is welcomed)

Transfercase leaking oil - this made me panic a bit when I seen the price - £686 (They said as it’s only minor and an advisory I should go back in a few weeks for a check up - covered by warranty any way)

So any way it was agreed that I will take the car back in a couple of weeks and get the transfer case leak checked, further investigate the auxiliary noise and change the sensor. They removed the EML light but they said it will continue to flicker on and off until the sensor is changed.

Thanks for every ones response and advice Thumbs Up
