DashCam Power

I’ve a front & rear dashcam fitted connected to a Tornado Hardwire battery monitor kit which gets it’s power from the fuse box behind the glove box, Unfortunately the dash cams have stopped working because the power connector has worked loose but I’ve no idea which fuse it originally connected to.

Anyone with dash cams fitted care to share what fuse number you get power from? Thanks

To add, just checked the tornado hardwire battery manual, it requires a permanent 12v live feed, a switched 12v live feed for when ignition is on and of course connection to ground. It’s the permanent 12v which has disconnected but not sure which fuse it was connected to

this is slightly different to mine, the tornado hardwire kits power the cams even when the ignition is off for collision and motion detection when parked, hence why I need permanent 12v. looks like this vid is using switched 12v

I think I've found I can use F30 (sunroof) for permanent live 12v. Using a multi-meter, get 12v with ignition off.

Iv3 got a permanent live & ignition live on my Thinkware & wired it like the guy in the video.I can’t remember which fuse I used as I also have a permanent live in case of sudden movement when I’m away from car. Andy.

Just watched the vid again, he mentions F49 for permanent and F52 for switched. I’ll give that a go
