United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
remap on tdv8

Just had my TDV8 daily drive through an MOT, passed without problems, except front brake pads so all good.
Except the garage said the egr valves might need to be replaced as I am getting engine light come up and this seems to be the problem.

He said that if I get a remap carried out they can delete the egr from the ecu, so it will resolve the problem.

Anybody know about this or any other reason why a rempa might be a positive on this car.

FWIW It is my daily driver, (most of the time) and covered 148k miles, so its no garage queen.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I decided to remap mine out rather than replace the egrs although I decided to blank them also as I have heard of the egrs breaking up and going into the engine it's rare but I decided to go the whole hog, I was also happy with the power before hand but as I was doing it thought Iā€™d have the mild tune but what I noticed straight away was how much better the throttle response was when pulling out on roundabouts etc it is so much better on light throttle šŸ‘ Clickadeeclick
