I had an MG fill with water due to problem with roof/cover - the dealer took carpet out and put it and car in the oven they used for curing paint overnight and was good as new |

A good dehumidifier left inside the car with the windows closed and the drain running outside will have it back to new |

as said I would look at soaking it up as much as possible, wet vac, dehumidifier, i would also look at taking the centre console apart

Do you think this will do the job? It costs £94.97 at Argos and I will buy it only for this problem.

Looks good although you'll need to remember to regularly empty the 1.5l tray otherwise you'll have a bigger problem |

I have 2 of these on my boat and there great, you should get a hose supplied so it can drain continually but as i said on my other post make sure all the windows and doors are closed or it will just suck all the moisture out of the atmosphere. You could leave it in the boot as it will then be on a flat surface and could drain through a grommet under the tool tray. Try and get as much water out as possible by other means as others have suggested and strip down the centre console and dry out.

I had the same issue on a different vehicle & it caused havoc with my electrics esp the seats.

Think I would give it to a detailer and let him sort it out, may be no more expensive than buying this or that and doing it yourself MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys
