I'm with rigsby on this one, all this talk of candles, rice, cress and every other gadget mentioned sounds like a big pain in the Censored

Let a detailer sort it

I bet you it's nowhere near dry.

You will need to remove the carpet and personally lift the soundproofing which is like a sponge.

You might be able to leave the soundproofing down but get an air gap to help it dry.

Next step put a heater ideally air heater and in and lock it in and leave it to dry for a couple of hours. Next put in a dehumidifier 5 or so hours.

You can switch then round, putting the heater in second.

Then a full clean...simple

My experience - driving through deep water off road and the seals exceeding their seal...not a rrs Mike

I think is better for a professional to do all the work, someone like a detailer will be a perdect choice instead of spending time, money and maybe I do some more damage.

Anyone can recommend a detailer in London?

Thank you Beancounter_74, I know I can find hundreds on the web Thumbs Up

I meant that I would prefer someone known by one of the members.

Yes, I knew that. All those I listed I'd have no issues letting them work on my car, but you canalsocheck their work out on DW.
Agree, it's better to go on a recommendation. Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
