2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've had a Tesla P60 with AWD on test drive for the last two days and had to return it this morning after we had 4" of snow overnight............. Haven't had to charge it in 190 miles of every type of road except forest tracks and it still had 20 miles range showing when I dropped it back.
Most impressed with its ride and handling in all conditions from dry through wet to icy then snow covered A and B roads and the M9. Even though it wasn't the one with "ludicrous" mode it still has more than sufficient get up and go for me and certainly quickly than my current RRS2. Drawbacks for me - don't need quite such a large car or 7 seats. I'll certainly have a look at the Type X SUV or type 3 with AWD which is going to be a Jaguar XE AWD competitor. I couldn't have asked for better test drive weather as it was -4c here on Monday night as I drive it home and then a goodly dump of snow last night, certainly makes you see that there are few drawbacks to owning a ZEV or a PHEV over a diesel SUV. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Nothing to report - no faults, no visits to petrol station since my last report, no snow to test the winter tyres - just a warm car every morning Mr. Green

I'm so bored - I've got nothing to write about Rolling Eyes

I keep looking in and offering support to DS owners with problems though - I'm not gloating - just genuinely sorry for them and having been there with LRs so I understand what they're going through Embarassed

So far no regret - apart from I should of moved on years ago Big Cry

Watched the Grand Tour last night - ironic to see technology from the PHEV shared with 1 Million supercars and they still call them Milk Floats Rolling with laughter

The Jag i-pace might tempt me back Cool

I like the look of the Tesla X model. Now that's an electric SUV worthy of the name. Shame it's so expensive. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

4th stop for fuel today - an eye watering 34.22 Wink

The onboard computer showed 101.4 mpg and actual is 101.2 so top marks for accuracy to Mitsy Cool

To date spent 109 on petrol over 2144 miles (5p a mile plus electric approx 3p a mile) Mr. Green

Discovered another benefit - SWMBO is a York shopping addict and if we are parked in council car parks using chargers we don't have to pay the 2.40/hr parking fees so we get electric which save petrol going home and free parking - cost me 75p for electric but didn't pay 7.20 to park for 3 hours Very Happy

Unfortunately any saving was decimated in the first shop she visited Crying or Very sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
