They knew they would have their legs pulled. When the call for a volunteer to pull the D3 came I quickly jumped at the chance just to have a laugh. I'm glad they captured it on mpeg. To be fair to the D3 though it was a manual and so a little trickier to use. Still one up for the RRS! Ner Ner Ner Ner 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey

I had a fab day out. I brought my cousin who was amazed how well these vehicles performed on road tyres and how well the hill descent worked. He kept commenting on how easy and comfortable it was to drive over such rough terrain and even drank a up of tea from his flask as I drive down slope in the quarry!
The instructors were brilliant. This day was much better than the LRE day. I'm so up for more days like this.

It's a pity Kam missed the morning. The quarry driving was very muddy and more 'extreme'. But he did save getting the car's interior plastered. Mine is a right mess now.

I'll sort out my pictures today. Matt

Just to raise my head, may I say a huge thanks to the guys who attended my Newbie day at Yarwell yesterday. Kam has explained his exploits, both Crying or Very sad and Very Happy , but more importantly, from a guy who had a RRS, I think he now may think he has two for the price of one. Fantastic car isn't it Kam and well done. The smile on your face when you saw what it could do, was worth putting the event on for you alone, what a nice guy.

It is not everyday your instructor is the 8 times European 4x4 champion in the form of Ed Cobley. Did any one see Jesser from the 'Salvage Squad' TV program in the morning, he to is a 4x4 nut.

As for Very_Annoyed great to see you. VA rescued poor Kevin (D3 Embarassed ), but don't forget he is a sea captain and just loves sand, so he decided to play in the sand Wink

Finally thanks to mpwox11 for attending as well it was really great to meet you RRS guys. Thanks for attending, you know where I can be found if your want another Newbie event Very Happy

Yeah Thanks Brian, it was great to meet you too, and the afternoon alone was worth the trip and the money!

Hope to see you again on another event such as this, and thanks again for the great organisation, and for sitting in with me, would have got stuck on the first hill if you weren't there!

I will speak with Martin as I organise with his consent on the forums only. However, just for info I can arrange from the Newbie events to full blown Australian outback adventures or simply a trip across Europe exploring the tracks there. I have access to the best instructors and guides in Europe.

What's wrong with mine? Except maybe the dented door, the dirty interior, the parking ticket on the front window, the driver! lack of persoanl number plate. As I was saying Matt's car looked the Dog's B's. Laughing Laughing

Looks like an excellent time was had by all - great pics VA, looking forward to seeing everyone elses.

BN,

When is the earliest you can put another day together? As with VA, would like to do something a little more stretching - done my half day intro course, going to book up for the Level 1 within the next month and am also in the process of getting a quote for a corporate day......

Getting addicted!!!!!! Cool Cool Cool Cool

Cheers,
