Kevin - Thumbs Up You're right I did jump up and down like a little boy, couldn't resist the chnce to pull you out. My RRS is knackered at the moment, and still dirty! I've left the tow hook trim off to add to the authentic off road look! Kevin all the best! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

VA, did you get the fire extinguisher off Matt on the day, did you secure it with anything? i completely forgot in all our haste in the morning.

I secured mine Mpox style under the front passenger seat, but instead of drilling, i used some plastic ties, same effect with less work.
Had actually brought some spare ties in my centre console in case you didn't have anything, but forgot all about it.

Kam - I did get the extinguisher from Mat but I had already fixed another which I picked up for £10.00. Fitted exactly the same way as Matt's but I like your idea - which I'd thought of that. I now have a spare for the house. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The best way to offroad in the RRS and D3's is to do exactly as mentioned, tape around the wheel rims and place slightly tacky cling film, such as the carpet coverings they have in new caravans and motor homes along the side of the cars. When finished take the film off and the car looks like new. The wheels are so soft now a days even a pebble can dent them, especially with such low profile tyres, there is little protection when on an angle.

This is my old D3 and the tyres on it

I've eventually got round to hosting the full unedited clips in mpeg format. Remember these are taken from a still camera so quality is not the best, but watchable.

Has anyone been on an OFF ROAD day in a Supercharged? I have stayed clear purely because of this BN. I dont want to have to cough up loads of dosh to replace my damaged alloys and shredded low profile continental tyres Question Big Cry

You would of been fine on Sunday's fun day - it was all on sand. If BN organises another day at the same place (I hope he does) then come along. Matt
