being at the bottom of the world gravity should help your pressure sprayer out a bit.

Hi, I would just confirm what they do with their Megaflush as a Flush is normally some form of Transfusion of the oil to replace most of it, if they are suggesting replacing the filter then believe that involves dropping the transmission sump so wonder how they replace the oil, before or after filter changed, I dont know Always a good idea to change a filter mind, so just confirm what and how they do it. and at your mileage its well worth doing Our 2006 we had a flush/transfusion on our drive done as preventative, no issues before or after and the 2010 we had I dropped the oil with a plan to do a few more changes over the coming months, again preventative with no issues before or after ....... but we then sold it before another change was done Porsche Cayenne 2022 gone Porsche Cayenne 2020 gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016 gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010 gone Rimini HSE 2005 !! |

I have slight vibration felt through the floor, seat, steering wheel at about 30mph to 40mph during moderate acceleration. Got my indie to test drive it just before Christmas and he's pretty sure that a gearbox "Powerflush" will cure it, There is a concern that it might be the torque converter on its way out if the flush doesn't work.

I’m all booked in the Bodsy now. He will be doing megaflush but not changing filter so sounds good to me! Offers a huge list of other services too which I might be sucked in to lol. Thanks

You won't go wrong with Bodsy. He did flushed Rob's and Steve's on here a couple of years back. Kev

Just back from my Indie. Cost of the Powerflush including an additive (?) was £277 and no vibration. If that lasts another 20,000 miles or so before I need to fork out on a new torque converter, then I'm happy. Especially as I'm not doing many miles at the moment. Yep I’m definitely interested in the mapping too. What is the diffs and transfer box oil change? Did notice that on his price list but no idea what it is for? Thanks

^^^ as above. The fluids are the life blood of your components. It's important they are drained and refilled at the required intervals to keep everything tip-top. Kev

Not a major concern but just thought would mention it if anyone was going to do the transmission oil themselves on a S/C, it would appear to have a different oil cooler although the principle is exactly the same, access to the pipes may even be easier than the 3.0L but obviously wouldn't know. I think I have marked flow direction correctly as haven't done the change yet just looking to see what is involved.
