Can anyone tell me what is involved in changing the rear anti roll bar with an ace unit, I have just changed my front ace pipes, and I had also ordered the back pipes but have noticed the back ACE unit is leaking badly, I have got a replacement bar, would like to know how hard a job it is going to be.

Thank you, do you just have to remove the two back body mounting bolts. I have not got to it yet, all front pipes are almost on but can't get the one that looks like some sort of quick connect, I have pulled it pushed it and twisted it but it doesn't want to come apart. how the flip do they separate.

The pipes push together, and the black collar slides into the joint, releasing the C clip. Quite fiddly until you get used to them |

Hi, I was thinking of cutting it along the edge with a dermel and then try to split it, the dremel sadly is a bit short, your sliding hammer might be better but was not sure if it would damage the part that slides in, I have hunted but cannot find the answer to this fitting, it's a right pain in the ****, please let me know how you get on, I won't get back to mine until Wednesday, my one also spins easily - it's a pain in the rear end Lot of Landcruisers now sold

Hi Disco Mikey thanks for the reply, I have not seen a black part, does it slide into the fitting to open the "C" clip where the rubber seal is.

Your help is much appreciated; I did see something on another forum where they used a U shaped tool but it was not clear where it went, I did make one and tried to use it to wedge the fitting apart but had no luck.
