Have them blanked for less L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Technically it's an MOT failure as its part of the cars emission system. However, it's deep in the engine so you can't see it unless you go looking for it. Blanking them off stops the soot recirculation in the engine so that's a benefit.

Ok thanks I will look into blanking them off if it doesn't affect the engine or performance? I guess i will save about £500 for the cost of buying two EGR valves |

Where do I get the software patch from? Is it the firm supplying the blanking kit? |

usually is it not recommended to blank the V8's

I had mine done by Bodsy and it cost far less than that.

I don't know why. Mikey on here, who knows these engines says not to on the V8.

Ok thanks but it was recommended by my local LANDROVER specialist to change both EGRs, although only one leaking.
