Restricted performance, red triangle and no codes…

Hi, last night while joining a motorway from on slip the car went into limp mode with red triangle showing. I had my gap tool with me and plugged it in at the next exit. It did not show any codes. I pressed ‘clear all ‘ anyway and the red triangle went out when I moved off again. The car drove fine all the way back. Any ideas ? Oh it’s. 2012 3.0sdv6 sport. Thanks

Turns out it’s a split inlet manifold.

A good find and a cheap fix. It's one of those things I'm afraid. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

Good morning,

I am now experiencing this issue. Can you advise how you found out it was a split inlet manifold please?
The vehicle just spent a few days at a local indie and they were unable to find any physical issue at all and again no codes showing up on either my GAP iiD tool nor their scanner

The way my indie described it when I took mine in for the same issue, they basically put it in gear, stand on the brake pedal and apply revs. One then hears a whistling noise from the split manifold. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
