 Use it only when you want it as it will drain your battery in quick order - 12 to 18 hours depending on temps and battery condition. They actually work quite well and it can cool a bottle or two just as quick as a proper fridge. Work even better if you put cool items in the fridge. I think they changed the design at some point. I seem to remember talk of a different colour light on the switch denoting the change. Green LED for old, Blue for later versions? It's been a while, so this is all a bit hazy. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

| garrycol Member Since: 30 Nov 2010 Location: Canberra Posts: 1071    | My fridge runs independent of the ignition which means drinks stay cold when the car is off - thankfully the fridge fan is noisy enough to hear when the car is switched off and serves as a reminder to switch it off when the car is no longer needed for the day.
