If you caught this thread a few days ago I was selling my unit, but it's gone now.

Nothing else needed, Make sure you get the RHD panels, make sure you get the highest amount of Ram and storage you can get and the latest chipset if available PX6 I think as this will have fast boot. My one took about 30sec to boot up.

Feel free to post up here what you are looking at, happy to give advise.

Also, am I right in saying that this unit will not work with the cars sound system.?

There is a 3.5mm audio cable that goes from the screen to the aux connection in the back by the rear a/c blowers. You set the OEM system to aux then you get sound via the original speakers. I can't remember who but someone said that there may be away to tap into the speaker cables at the from but haven't tried it.

This one seems to be a PX3, which is the one I had. The fact it's more expensive is strange as the spec is lower.

This one seems to be PX6 which should boot up faster.

It's not very clear at all, I would contact them and ask:

What PX chip is it? You want PX6 or above
What Ram is in it? You want 4gb or more
What Storage is in it? You want 64gb or more
What android Version, the L320 screens have been stuck on version 4.4.4 but I think 9.0 is available now.
Can they supply RHD trim with the above spec?

Get this confirmed in writing, you can then run an app when you get it to confirm the spec. I would probably tell them you are going to do this so they don't try and fake the specs in the android system files.

We are sorry that we do not sell RHD right now, because it appears many problems with RHD, and the protocol between the RHD and the LHD is different, so our engineer are testing the RHD , we do not plan to sell it to customers now. Sorry again and thanks for your understand.

That seems very strange. Mine worked perfectly well, apart from the the rear doors showing the wrong way round on the screen.

I did reply with the link stating RHD In the title. See what they say.

I think they have misunderstood, just stated again I meant the plastic trim RHS.

Would you happen to know if there is any difference between 2010 and 2012 systems? Are the connections the same?

Also, how did you find the sound coming out of the aux cable?

I do think there was a difference in the interface between 2010, can you post up a picture of what the interface on your screen looks like?

Sound - I had issues with but that was my own doing, the DAB app had set the volume to full blast all the time which meant when I turned up the volume on the car it would crackle. Once I turned that down it was fine for me and the wife, we had the logic 7 system and the wife would wack it up loud.

One of my friend bought this tesla unit for his RRS and made the previous switch to Aux with the original interface, as explained by you.
he got one time sound (nice) thanks to you with his bluetooth mobile on Tesla unit, but byselecting mode on the steering wheel, he loosed sound and not succed any more to have sound, until now (2 days).We setted back the original interface for Aux switch and then back to the tesla unit but this works no more.
Do you experienced the same problem? does it work any time? or do you recommand specific handling to solve this issue?
In the meantime hs sent a message to the seller and still wait even that he recognize that they are interctives.
