Go to the OEM screen, make sure AUX is selected.

Select 'Phone' from the top bat navigation.

Select BT Music.

Does the sound come back?

Do i have to re-install again teh OEM or how do i to get the OEM screen (wich function)
Because i swith mounting both of them to select AUX ( i know it's a bit complex because we are learning the do it self

I think that's your problem, you need to take the screen off your OEM unit and then attach the back to the Tesla screen.

Take a photo of the back of the Tesla screen and the OEM unit and post it up here.

You should be able to get to the OEM interface from the Tesla screen.

It works well now but after 2 hours of use, it switched off itself but I suppose i do not have to care ofit.
What i just noticed this afternoon is that my rubbon seems slightly torn along the length of the white part,
certainly due to the various disassembly and reassembly when testing and installation of the Tesla unit (i'll find a new one).

That will sort the image but won't sort the sound.

In the picture below the button on the top bar in the middle takes you to the OEM screen(grey person with fan). My sound would disappear when I clicked this, so if you clicked mode on the steering wheel then Clicked this to go back to aux, when you went back to the Tesla interface you wouldn't have sound.



To get the sound back you need to click the green phone icon on the right and click BT music, if the sound comes back then I know how to help.let me know if the sound comes back.

Should be no need to take the ribbon on and off to solve the sound issue if you have the OEM interface displaying.

Sorry for the long delay for my answer as to many works this last week.
Yes the Tesla unit is working wel OK now and lot of thank.

Yes you are right, i do not have to touch the ribbon yet but i'll try to find a new long by the the provider of the Tesla screen as i went to range rover but it looks like complicated and expensive.
Are you glad of your wi-fi usb set?

Can anyone link me to where they bought the latest greatest Tesla screen for a Bosch setup? I've bought two now and got a denso unit every time. $1800 wasted so far.
