Just got myself a 2007 tdv8 rrs, I was aware of an issue under braking at speed when I bought it and assumed (was told by the seller) that the discs needed skimmed. I have now noticed that there is a very slight vibration through the steering wheel at speed 60mph or so, which gets worse under braking. It’s not noticeable at low speeds.

Cheers, I’ll probably try this first but would it be worse under braking if the wheels/tires need balanced. The car looks to have been sitting for quite a while without moving much before I got it. |

As the guys have said,, wheel balance and / or sticky caliper. I've had the same issue, the very small vibration through the steering wheel turned out to be an out of shape front wheel. Vibration under braking was a sticky caliper, more noticable through the brake pedal, front wheel bearing will be more noticable when driving round a bend.

Front lower arm bushes will cause this too. If they're original on a 2007 then they're due a change. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I’ve checked the Cali per temperatures and they both seem pretty similar. Warm but not too hot.

And will a garage be able to tell straight away if it’s the bottom bones or the bushes?

Don't know about Aberdeen but MMP in Dundee would be a worthwhile trip down @Disco_Mikey is a regular on here and an LR specialist. |

Just a thought - if the car had, as you say, been sitting for a while - tyres flat-spotted? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
