Tyre pressure?

Hi everyone, I’m new to the group. I’ve only had my RRS for two weeks now but I’m worried about the tyre pressures. I have 22” Overfinch alloys with 38 in the front and 40 in the rear and they look like they’re riding on the edge of the walls. What is the correct pressure please?

Do yours look like this? I have to inch up kerbs etc as they go totally flat when put up against something, I’m just worried about putting more pressure in.

I keep 40psi in mine,,,, but try to avoid driving up kerbs, you will certainly damage your wheels at some point 2010 RRS, TDV8

I’ve actually only been over one kerb and took it really slowly but I could feel that it rolled on the rim (through the tyre). I’ve owned an X5 previously with low profiles on but the tyre wall still stood straight with 38-40psi. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s the walls of the tyres that have maybe been ran low before I bought it and now they won’t stand up? Cheers for the reply’s though lads.

The X5 was probably designed for low profile tyres, the RRS certainly wasn't - 40% or 50% aspect ratio was what LR specified for your vehicle. It could also just be that the tyre isn't really suitable for the RRS. I know people run that tyre but maybe better options are out there? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

But the X5 was probably a run flat tyre with stiffer side walls? 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Yeah mine as similar looking. Don`t drive up kerbs so can`t comment on that. Steve.

Cheers for the help lads, it sounds like it’s normal from the comments. I’m new to the RRS but have had numerous cars, 4x4s etc throughout my life and these just looked like they were lacking in pressure but now that I’ve had a few people running similar saying that theirs are the same I’m happier with them. Btw the X5 tyres weren’t run flats.
