So you need to get the codes read as posting this on here and Disco 3 you will only get the same response until we have the codes we cant really say if it is a transmission fault or an electronic fault that is causing your car to cut out but from what you have said and has already been said it does sound like you TC needs a new one |

OK... the mechanic came round, and I plugged in the IID.

That is the part number and from land rover it should have a 2 year warranty |
