Transmission fault suspension lowering reduced power

As the title says all that appeared on the dash

Just overtaken and then this warning appeared and yes I lost power which was not funny as in outside lane

Happened twice more this weekend

Clears when restarted

Any ideas anyone “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

Ive been having the same problem for a while now and the local dealer just cleared the faults saying 'no fault found' - only for it to happen again several times.

Using my IIDTOOL I see:

E023-ENGINE
torque information

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

this happens to me too. The suspension error light and engine management light comes on, with the 'reduced engine performance' message. Still drives OK though. Twice, on start up it's gone into a sort of limp mode - without the limp mode message though. This is what happens.

I start the engine. It automatically revs to 2500RPM, it slowly reduces to idle, very lumpy. I touch the gas and it shoots back up to 2000RPM then slowly increases to 2500RPM on its own ! No gas ! Then takes a minute to rest at idle. This happens 2-3 times and then seams to be OK once the engine has warmed up. No problem then whilst driving, but sure I have a miss-fire somewhere so having that checked out.

The suspension error light comes on at totally random times with no common reason for it and no visible affect on driving.

I never had a fraction of these sort of problems with my previous FFRR  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

I've 4 (yes 4!) days left on my warranty so it's in the garage being looked at today - I told them not to just simply clear the faults and hope it doesn't happen again! '10 RRS 5.0 SC

Sounds like you need to renew your warranty too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

damned expensive but I guess it's cheap when compared to the amount of money to keep these things running. '10 RRS 5.0 SC

Interesting to hear that they think it's the HP fuel pump. Hopefully that will solve your issue and we will have another piece in the "what's gone wrong this time" puzzle that is RRS ownership!

Good call on the warranty. LR's is quite pricey but it covers quite a lot, especially if you qualify for the Approved version rather than the Select version which I'm now limited to. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Various warning lights come, suspension lowers, loss of power. Cycle the ignition and everything ok ?? Get the steering angle senser checked and recalibrated.

Well, went for a long run today (Motorway speeds(ish)) and the car performed faultlessly so (once again) hopefully replacing the High Pressure Fuel Pump has fixed it! '10 RRS 5.0 SC
