2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

How to Run cable throught upper tailgate ?

Anybody on here know how to strip down rear upper tailgate to run a cable from the number plate light fitting up to the top of the tailgate under the spoiler? Pls let me know Java black 2006

Not sure it's possible.

My rear camera feed is run along the recess in the profile and stuck on with strips of black duck tape. RRS gone

The only way to run the cable is around the upper tailgate and then put a small hole in the rubber. It is a real fiddly job to get right as you also need to have the lower tailgate up at the same time (bit not too much) I use a piece of paracord to stop the upper tailgate going up too much.

I also don't try feeding the av phono plug through that hole as I use some custom wiring to keep all the cables in one thin cable instead of power and video seperately. Then connect them in the tailgate housing. You need to drill a small hole through the tailgate handle (or a big hole if you keep the phono connector on!) Bodsys Brake Bible

Do u mean u ran the cable from top to bottom on the inside the upper tailgate and disguised it with duck tape? that sounds like a plan Java black 2006
