took the RRS this morning. 19mpg (excluding the cold start and couple of miles to the petrol station) |

Others may disagree but I don't find the RRS a good car for kid carrying - smaller kids will struggle to get in and out due to the height, the doors don't open as far as some other cars and the seat cars and general finish are not as robust as other cars and tends to show wear & tear quickly.

Well, had a slight change of mind and picked up an E46 BMW 320ci Auto (53 plate with 14k miles, 2.2L 6 cylinder).

I think those Boxters are a waste of space....I had a Z3M Convertable a few years back now that was a drive!!! A boxter will always be looked upon as a poor mans porsche.... I would take a million other cars before that.... even a Bmw 335 would be a better choice. |

The Boxster is widely regarded as one of the best sports car of its generation!! I can't remember the last serious magazine review where the Z3M beat the Boxster. And as for a poor man's Porsche, that's just funny. Presumably you drive a poor man's Range Rover? The coupe version of the Boxster, the Cayman, was effectively knobbled by Porsche to stop it running rings around the 911. And no, I don't (nor have I ever) own a Boxster...did look at the 996 Turbo before buying the RRS though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Mate are you joking??? Show me one review which says the Boxter is better than any M BMW!!! Look at the stats: http://www.zeperfs.com/en/duel120-314.htm The worst thing is people driving Boxters think they are driving a fast sports car but they are not... it's performance for that type of a vehicle is poor.... my M5 used to blow their doors off and I would have 4 passengers ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ah, now I understand your position. You think that one car is better than another purely because it is faster on the stopwatch in a straight line.

No unfortunately you do not get it.. for handling a Z3M without traction control was a beast around a track or a straight line, please just sit in one and you may see my point.... Most M cars will go down in history the E60 M5 is a piece of magic.... you are talking about peogeouts above which don't rock my boat.... yes back in the day they were good at what they did but if we are talking about handling and speed and engineering greats then BMW M cars will always be up there! A Boxter will not go down in the history books... fact. |

It must be a rare book as only you have it in there! And all this from a guy who has never owned a Boxter.... try own an M car and you will change your opinion quickly! |
