I'm currently buying off the shelf from Wilkinsons at £1.99 per litre. This is FB rated, which is perfectly satisfactory as long as the car is not fitted with a DPF filter in the exhaust system. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps. |

Mart, really impressive. I am well interested. But how about its effect on the DPF? |

BigMart, Sorry, yes I am buying the same 600ml bottles, not 1 litre as I wrote previously. Therefore I would be happy to join a group purchase for anything cheaper, especially at £1 per litre. According to Yamaha-Fan, there is no benefit in purchasing grades higher than FB if a DPF filter is not fitted. DPF equipped cars require a minimum grade of FC. For the benefit of the doubters, my indicated average fuel consumption for my TDV8 since 1st January is 28.4 MPG - mostly local driving. Prior to using 2 stroke additive I struggled to achieve an indicated average of 25 MPG. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps. |
