Posts: 24350    | Yep, that was always a problem with the RS cars... but they moved the engine back in the RS4, which is why that handled so well (within the limit at least). For that reason, I don't think the RS6 is the M5-slayer they hoped it had been... in real driving terms I still think I'd rather have the M5 although I've not driven a new RS6.  | ||

The other option is to use twin-turbo V8 however loads of guys say its just too much power for the current V8 so a new unit would have to be developed if that was the case

Posts: 4771    | Yeah this is very consistent all over the net really..  i've been reading, V10 out of the gallardo.. or a turbo'd 4.2 V8... either will do nicely for me!  480 bhp would be the fastest thing i've owned to date anyway..
