Sounds Fantastic - I look forward to trying it out soon. Here is one to use some of the other cuts of meat in return. Venison Goulash Soup 30gm butter 2 large onions 2 large carrots 3 sticks of celery 500gm Venison 125gm bacon 2tbs paprika 60gm butter extra 2tbs oil 1/2 cup flour 2L water (8 cups) 2 beef stock cubes 2 chicken stock cubes salt and pepper 1/2 cup tomatoes paste 3tbs chopped parsley cream 1. Fry butter, onions, carrots and celery. When golden brown remove from pan. 2. Add extra butter, oil, venison and bacon to pan. Cook gently until golden brown. Remove from pan. 3. Add flour to pan stir until dark brown. 4. Add paprika, stir 1 minute 5. Remove from heat and add water and stir to combine. 6. Return to heat, stir until soup boils, and reduce heat. 7. Add venison, bacon and vegetables stir until combined. 8. Stir in beef and chicken stock cubes and tomato paste. 9. Add salt and pepper. 10. Cover and simmer gentle 1 1/2 hours. 11. Add parsley. 12. When serving add small amount of cream to centre of bowl decoratively. Just a white TDV8 with a few extras |
