I just try my own recipes! ...........

Sounds Fantastic - I look forward to trying it out soon. Here is one to use some of the other cuts of meat in return.

Venison Goulash Soup

30gm butter
2 large onions
2 large carrots
3 sticks of celery
500gm Venison
125gm bacon
2tbs paprika
60gm butter extra
2tbs oil
1/2 cup flour
2L water (8 cups)
2 beef stock cubes
2 chicken stock cubes
salt and pepper
1/2 cup tomatoes paste
3tbs chopped parsley
cream

1. Fry butter, onions, carrots and celery. When golden brown remove from pan.
2. Add extra butter, oil, venison and bacon to pan. Cook gently until golden brown. Remove from pan.
3. Add flour to pan stir until dark brown.
4. Add paprika, stir 1 minute
5. Remove from heat and add water and stir to combine.
6. Return to heat, stir until soup boils, and reduce heat.
7. Add venison, bacon and vegetables stir until combined.
8. Stir in beef and chicken stock cubes and tomato paste.
9. Add salt and pepper.
10. Cover and simmer gentle 1 1/2 hours.
11. Add parsley.
12. When serving add small amount of cream to centre of bowl decoratively. Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

try Pheasant in vintage Port and peaches.

Poach the Pheasant in vintage port for two hours (gentle boil) until the meat falls from the bones with fresh nutmeg and cinnamon.
make saute' apple mash lightly baked in the oven and piped onto the plate'
a scattering of freshly sliced mushrooms, diced peppers all colours finely chopped, use olive oil only.
a teaspoon of brown sugar to sweeten the port sauce.
present the peaches to the sliced bird and enjoy.

Or

Sticky glazed BBQ Liver, fresh mushies and onions takes 2 hrs to cook, remove from the heat every 10 minutes to rest. stops it breaking up.

Or roasted pineapple chutney tender loin of pork. lightly minted baby new potato's, fresh peppers red.

or for orange sausages
melt marmalade "Thick course" in a pan and cook the sausages, pork and beef are the best, and serve on a bed of apple mash, thin the sauce with warm water and drizzle over the mash and fresh green veg

all own recipes and I don't eat meat, not bad eh!

loads more Very Happy "E" loves his food!! no regrets!
ONE LIFE LIVE IT.
