Road Kill for dinner

About 3 weeks ago one of my neighbours managed to mow down Bambi when she jumped out in front of his Mitsubishi Warrior and came of worst. After reporting it to the Police he was told that no further action was needed as Bambi (ahhhh just thought maybe it was Prancer or Rudolph Whistle ) was killed outright and that he could do what he like with the it ................................. so I went out with him to collect the carcass and get it back to our village butcher who is also a licensed Game Butcher/Dealer, for hanging and butchering. I now have a few rather nice cuts of venison for the freezer. I didn't freeze it all though and have just had 3 rather tasty medalions of venison that have been maranaded in Cointreau for a couple of hours, served with some nice new potatoes and fresh English asparagus and garden peas ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it must be one of the tenderest cuts of venison I've ever eaten. Must try to get them young in future! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
