It looks so much like its' predecessor: virtually identical from the front, unchanged from the side, and like an overweight X3 from the back. The stance does look slightly more aggressive, but I really think this is a missed opportunity for BMW. The original version was extremely popular, so you could argue "why fix what aint broke," but nevertheless the the outcome is more of a facelift than a completely revised model.

Posts: 4771 | Sport is out next year.. usual thing for Bmw to bring out SE's followed by Sports later.. deeming SE's to be completely unwanted and keeping up demand for the model. (i am facing this issue as my coupe is an SE and now sport is out may be harder to sell mine on..)

Engine-wise, yes the 3.5 would be the one Kam, and you'd certainly wait to get in Sport. But the car itself still looks like a big profiterole.., where's the radical new styling that EVERY other revised model has enjoyed? Sure, they dont always get it right, the 3 series is proof of that, but it needed modernising to cast-off that staid mumsie image! I certainly wouldn't ditch my sexy, mean-looking RRS in favour of this Bavarian alternative.., and I'm a BMW fan! MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

Surely not MPG, must be L/100kms otherwise an S/C FFRR would be more economical to run than an X5 diesel.... and we know that ain't true 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
