Tim, I fully agree with your summation that it looks like the old X5 with a bodykit. That's beacuse I owned an X5 with an expensive bodykit and there ARE similarities. I also agree that the new one's an improvement, but, despite inferior off-road capabilities, I would definitely still think about buying one. The X3 is ugly and the Freelander is a poor man's Discovery, so rule-out those options. However, the X5 remains a good solid reliable car and always worth consideration! |

i still wouldn't buy one - just fancy a test drive - there is no doubt 'technically' BMW's are always better, however they are sooooo boring
