I kept Swmbos FL1 until it was 5 years old but I bought it nearly new - I would of kept MY10 RRS for 5 years but lost faith after dealer dropped it off ramp on 3rd service so it went 4 year old

I'm definitely tempted, 5 year warranty and 8 on the battery , would have to sell my RRs private as whilst they were amazed with the condition they would only send it to auction.
On the way back something started slipping in my gearbox, hoping my warranty covers it. Nanocom Evo

At the end of the day could you live with one of these mitzis, I mean just at them seen more stile in a P38. It's depressing enough having to go to work but seeing one of them on the drive, think I'd be reaching for the rope, anyhow enjoy the test drive Thumbs Up 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I totally agree after 2 RRS I couldn't live with this as my only vehicle - just as I can't with the DS but as a tool for A - B I might as well have the phev as the DS and get something interesting for the weekend and holidays Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

My current RRS2 is due for a change in November.

I'm pretty certain at this stage I won't be going for my third.

LR pricing is getting silly. For essentially the same spec as what I'm driving now they are looking for an extra 7k

I have been test driving a lot of vehicles over the last week or so.

Q7 is crap. I really don't like it.

The Volvo XC90 T8 hybrid (320bhp petrol + 90bhp electric) is an astonishingly good motor. The interior is something else, and looks fantastic to boot, and has a 30ish mile range on electric.

I've an F-Pace 3.0 diesel coming tomorrow for a 48hour drive which I'm really looking forward to.

As much as I love the xc90 I need a diesel, and my biggest worry with the Volvo and their insistence on 4 cylinder engines is that it will be weaker and noisier than I am used to.

Nearly as worrying, however, is I've been told that the next RRS is coming with a 2lt 4cyl Diesel engine.... Oh dear. MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

The 2.0 is going to be entry level for the same price as the old 3.0 which is why the prices have gone up again

I'd look at it the other way round - best to have something more interesting to counteract the boredom of commuting. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Commute is probably the wrong word - because we have 1 vehicle now and no longer live above our main business I drive swmbo in and pick her up so I have a vehicle - if we had 2 she could take the phev Very Happy

I also nip through for lunch with her but I spend my days doing paperwork at home and walking the dog or working on our properties/managing tradesmen as a second business which I could use the phev for and not worry about it Confused

A nice 2nd car for weekend was never an option if buying RRS2 - we used to have 2 but replacing the MY10 with MY13 after dealer damage it seemed pointless as we only used it weekend before we moved Rolling Eyes

Downsizing to DS when we moved made sense as a second car would probably be needed as we're finding Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
