I'm taking the plunge. Booked it in for next Thurs to have cradle for 6230i installed and the 1 1/2 hour software download to make it work with the phone.
Fingers crossed. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

If you change your phone, I'm sure the cradle swap is pretty straight forward but would a new software install just overwrite the previous one? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

I hope it includes vat, but my brain stopped listening when I got to £110.
I wonder how much they'll charge for plugging it in

I reckon if you change your phone it will prob mean same again. Thankfully I don't change it very often. TDV6 - gone

£10 increase in the cradle in 6 months. I paid £85 + VAt for mine. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The cradle is standard but there is a tech bulletin for the software download which L/R will have to install. TDV6 - gone

Difficult to find on ebay! Answer to your question is - I don't know. I think the software is for the car and the cradle will then work. D3 have a thread on this. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
