| Scroll through settings by pressing the indicator stalk in, I am sure it comes under "auto lock", it also disables auto locking when the car exceeds 5mph. |

Are certain the damage was not already done?  - it's very easy to damage an alloy and not notice it happened. |

| Shouldn't be necessary, if the squab is getting to hot the element may be failing and runs a serious risk of fire, if this is the case don't use it until it has been examined. |
