If the code reader is reporting a crankshaft sensor error, then it means the ECU can't see any timing pulses from the crank, and is thinking that the crank is not rotating, so it won't fire the injectors (as it has no idea what the timing relationship is).

Cheers Bob could well be the problem can the wiring be checked from the top as the sensor is awkward behind turbo at back of engine? |

Solved the problem one of the last checks looked down oil filler turned engine camshaft not turning.
