If I'm honest I'm not entirely sure if my dealership would pick up on a goose sitting on the back seats but we'll see! I might give them a nudge about it when they ring to say the cars arrived! I'm at the factory on Friday so I'll have a word Laughing Laughing

Hi All,

My dealer tells me that the fix is now available..

They are doing it on one of their demonstrators to make sure all is well over the weekend and will then do mine on Monday.

Has anyone had theirs done yet?

H.

All went well with my Dealer's demonstrator, so I'm off to get mine updated this afternoon!

What was the DPF update? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Hi Hobster,

Yes it was Lewes.

The DPF update was to apparently correct a software fault whereby a flap did not fully close when it should have done causing "overfuelling" and clogging of the filter. The update also reduces the sensitivity of the clogging of the Deisel Particulate Filter indication system.

The Dealer themselves have been brilliant and I have never used them before. I asked them to be careful before delivery with the swirl marks in the black plastic. I was a bit concerned when I saw a car wash there. However, they delivered a perfect showroom finish car, the coffee is excellent, staff very knowledgable and a credit to the brand.

I've just been out now that it's dark to check the AHBA. Very impressed and a fun new toy to play with.

Best wishes to all,

H.

I had chance to test the ahba tonight, it's great I love it . You really would be surprised how much easier it makes driving in the dark.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Until you enter a small village with street lights and then it seems to get confused and stays on dipped beam when you come out from the street lighted area. I liked it but found that issue annoying as it was quite hard to reset it to work automatically again, basically had to pull over, stop switch off and then let it rest and restart. It was easier to manually override it and continue the journey non-stop. I'm now back in a car with out it and don't really miss it.I would sooner have the Road Sign Recognition system than AHBA 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

On my 2012 Sport you could override it by pulling the stalk towards you to turn high beam off (as if to flash) and reset by pushing the stalk away and then back. No idea if it does the same now as the system on my SVR is much better (quicker) and have not yet had a reason to override it.

Agree with DrDill! My 2014.5 is excellent and I live in semi rural Kent.

No need for high beams in villages with street lights and if they don't have them then it works perfectly.

To reset it I just push forward into high beam which deactivates auto and then pull back which reactivates or vice versa I can't remember. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography
