United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Rear passenger door won't open!

My n/s rear passenger door won't open and was wondering whether anyone has had this issue before or know what I should do? When I press the key fob the door handle lock button moves slightly but not all the way to the open posistion like the other doors.

Thanks,

Does it make a difference if you use the dashboard lock unlock to toggle it?

Can you manually unlock and open it?

Have you done a manual unlock open close to see if anything ;gets better' ? This kind of reset may sort it if it'll work...

Let us know

The dashboard lock unlock makes no difference.

It's the n/s rear passenger door so no key lock.

I will try a manual unlock open close.

Thanks,

Have you tried the emergency manual lock on the front passenger door - you remove the cover with the little key icon on it and insert the ignition key to manually operate all the locks. There is a section about it in the manual, sorry I cannot tell you which page as I am a long way from my car at the moment. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've have this problem as well on the rear left hand side door, manual lock only moves slightly when you askl for an unlock. Its looks like a sticking lock motor to me. It suddenly started workng again recently but its in for a service soon and a replacement lock motor

also my right rear door headset control panel failed
