Rupert - are you feeling alright? Had a freeloaner last week and whilst it isn't the worst car I've driven it certainly isn't as good as a RRS. If you honestly think this get your RRS checked out as there must be something wrong with it. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Seriously VA I really love the Freelander & have considered trading to one, when my RRS is due for change.

Well why not ???

The Freelander 2 is an absolutly fine car, it’ll do everything that I do with my RRS. I honestly can't think of one thing I do with, or use my RRS for, that a FL2 couldn't do just as well.

It’s cheaper to buy, cheaper to tax, even if you go top of the range & get a HSE which is better equipped than my SE RRS.

In some cases even better equipped.

For instance the Bluetooth PTI is way ahead of that fitted to the RRS, even the so called updated version. When playing MP3 Cds the track title is displayed & you have full folder navigation, instead of that “DATA” display you get on the RRS Rolling Eyes

It’s still a Land Rover after all & is streets ahead of it’s predecessor, which by the way I loved too.

I really don’t see the problem Confused

Laughing Laughing

Rupert, the question you should then be asking yourself is: what drew you to the RRS enough to buy one, if the FL2 is "good enough" Very Happy

The Freelander 2 wasn’t out at the time I bought the Sport.

I had originally bought a D3 in 2005, but only had if a few weeks, when I saw the first RRS in the dealership & said Censored should have bought one of those Rolling Eyes

So went in a few months later & ordered “Rupert” the Range Rover Sport, which I now have.

However, since then, Wifey got a FL2 & I must say I really like it & do think that one would suit me just fine too.

Particularly with somewhere in the region of twenty grand in the difference between a FL2 HSE & a new SE RRS Shocked

VA

Neither of them actually Laughing

Do you really think that the FL2 doesn't have it in the looks department Question

I've always thought of it as looking like a smaller RRS Exclamation

Think it looks rather well Cool

VA hope you didn't hurt yourself falling on the floor Very Happy

Yep, I do - but as with all these things, it's subjective... You've just upset 1700 RRS owners, that's all Big Cry Wink
