Check the encryption you are using? Is it WEP or WPK

WPA-PSK is what the paperwork I printed off says; does this make sense? Embarassed

Always worth tackling these things in small steps by removing all the hurdles and then adding them back in one by one.

Turn off all encryption/protection on the wireless router and then get the laptop to connect and check for correct operation - then turn back on the encryption and check again.

Check that wireless that MAC addressing is switched off on the router.

(That allows the router to connect only to certain equipment bearing the serial numbers (Mac addresses)) 2022 P440e AB

Do you have data encyrption (a windows setting) set to TKIP not AES?

Also, apply all windows service packs (i think you need min SP1 for WPA-PSK).

If the above doesn't work, reset the router back to factory settings and start again. 2022 P440e AB

I go to a lot of problems like this, key in the wireless key and it works straight away - customer informs me that is what they were doing, however it didn't work for them Confused Wink

as Paulo says - reset the router and start again - hope you get it sorted
