2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Ugh, I'm about to give up on the 18" quest. All the dealers in OZ are way too flakey to deal with, and here in the states there don't seem to be many options. The only wheels that seem like they might fit are not strong enough (according to the load rating info).
I looked at the G4 vehicles, and they run a 255/55-19 (MT/R). That tire has a 5.5" sidewall... and those 285/50-20's I was looking at are a 5.6" sidewall. And bonus(!), I could just use my existing factory wheels. That's sounding more and more palatable....

Anyone have any new info/discoveries to share about 18" wheels?

Yup, factory stormers with 285/50-20 cooper LTZ's. More pics and info on the RR.net board, if you're interested.

Interesting indeed, is there really no rubbing/contact with a combination of a 50 inch tire with a 285 width?

That would be awesome news. Please confirm. My standard 20" tires have very little life left and I need to buy a new set shortly and would like to go for a wider tire with a bigger rim. SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

Sorry, don't know why the link didn't work the first time. And FYI, it's a 50 series tire, not 50 inch! Smile
