41 jules,

Don’t forget the GHOST has to be set up with a laptop when installed.

The “learn loop” on the unit is then cut so the config is set (unless a new loop I soldered in and the unit reconfigured).

I was nosy when mine was fitted (as Chartered Electronics engineer) so the fitter was really good at showing me what was possible.

It could be a config issue - or you could try re-pairing your phone(s) using the code on the card you should have been given when it was fitted.

My fitter wouldn't let me see it - it was all very secretive so I've no idea what a ghost looks like or even where it's fitted in my cars!

Good idea though, I might try pairing my RRS with my phone - if it works reliably then I could do away with the tag which would make it a bit more secure. I generally have my phone with me all the time anyway. 2021 L494 D300MHEV Autobiography

Big yellow bar through steering wheel didn't stop toe-rags from trying to have mine away, smashed window sawed through steering wheel to remove yellow bar, cap off OBD port but didn't get away with car,was only the ghost that saved them getting away with it
Also Had a ghost fitted to wifey evoque, would recommend every time
£1200 for new wheel

Side step from the “Ghost” convention but as I mentioned earlier I have the large bendy yellow Stoplock as I thought that the visual deterrent was a good idea.

As said earlier if they’re determined to steal it they will so making your car less appealing than the over one parked down the road could be the way to go.

Anyhoo after seeing the “Powerful” gear knob lock I ordered one straight away… It arrived today and it’s very yellow and very well made and I bet it would be an absolute bastard to get off so it’ll be replacing the Stoplock.

Hopefully that and my 2 AirTags will mean I get to hang onto my RRS
