Just bought an RR sport hse and one the faults showing is the ace hydraulic pump isn't working , apparently its had a new one fitted and so where is this pump please. The reservoir is full , but I get a feeling the suspension is soft and bounces a bit when manoeuvring slowly and braking . I also rolls slightly when cornering , would this be an indication a why it throws a fault. |

Hi if a new pump was fitted was the system put through the bleeding process.I think there is a particular device that is used and a specific process.

Apparently the system was bypassed , but I feel if I can understand something about it it would be beneficial, as it is quite soft, works better in Sport mode , handling that is , wishful thinking don't know .

What year, what engine, in what way has it been bypassed, is there a warning light on the dash? |

57 Plate V8 Diesel, sorry I dont know enough about it , but I was told that a pipe was replaced and the system was disconnected. Seems like the seller doesn't want to help , I have mentioned it and that was his explanation . I reckon I got it at the price that suits. If maybe I can start at the beginning I will either delete altogether or sort.

Hmmm, there was a chap on the forum recently trying to sort out a TDV8 with a leaking system. Wanted to remove it and was generally told to forget it. Wasn't the same one, I wonder.

Soundslike a familiar story I was told. The Garage that the seller used was a specialist , but I think in order to cut costs , the seller by passed the cost and sold it as it was . I am going to get more information on this one.

Is there a guide somewhere that I can check out the Dynamic response system to see what's needed to restore it and get it working gain , there are no leaks but I just get C1119-09(AF) Hydraulic Pressure- General failure information-component failure .Where do I start and is there a pathway . Perhaps the whole thing needs to go to manual I not sure. |
