that's a pitty but I can understand, that you have no interest to wait so long.
as mentioned here before I ordered on 24.3.
my last amandment is over (8.9.) and my car is in the "red phase" - no changes possible, but still not freezed. that means, I don't know if it will be built on 8.10.2021
I hope it wouldn't be shifted again..

is here somebody who is "near" to JLR and can comment about the situation? it is very unsatisfactory that still the dealer doesn't know a lot what will happen, will the car be built etc. etc. Range Rover Sport HST D350

Having only ordered mid August this scares the living daylights out of me. Dealer indicated some delay and thats OK if you know the end date... this sounds like a moving target.

Radiation2009, What build date do you have at the moment?

They can look on the system and give you that, I call them every few weeks and they look it up while we chat. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I have a super cool dealer here. the salesman is a top-person with a high focus on the customers
he informs me proactively.

my intension was: is here someone who can tell more about the cars which have a built date - will they be built? what's about this forecast etc.?
I have the feeling, that today nobody is sure, that the car will be built with an allocated built slot.. and that is annoying.

I placed an order for a P400HST back in June. Standard spec with no options so that may help. The dealer advised that because it was ordered before the 6th August it was on a 'priority' list ...... I received an update early July suggesting a delivery date at the end of October and then a further update at the middle of August which suggested there may be a delay. However I have just received another update suggesting that my order has now been allocated a build date and should be with the dealer during October. Clearly the situation may change !! BUT I now have my fingers crossed.

I am told that my build date is currently showing as 8 October with delivery to dealer on 22 October.

So maybe our HST's will be built together!

However I should add that my dealer has said these dates should be treated with a 'pinch of salt' as dates are changing regularly....
