rear parking sensors not working

hi all new to the forum
diagnostic check shows all rear parking sensors not working(front sensors ok))surely all of them wouldn't of failed? does that indicate wiring fault? rather than sensor fault? look forward to all your experiences of this issue and the likely problem/fix

Not sure if it helps but this week I had my RRS fixed. One sensor on the front bumper failing took out front and rear sensors plus the reversing camera. Front O/S sensor replaced and everything instantly works again. There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

could be a sensor, camera still works fine. the question is if one rear sensor fails why does it say the other three have failed too??

Could be a short on one sensor or wiring chaff on bumper

My sensors have started playing up again. I am occasionally getting the high pitched warning sound. Not the same symptoms as you as they still work sometimes. I will have to investigate as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer and initially I will start at the rears because I am very suspicious of the way LR routed the cabling. Andy K's comment about chafing is high on my list of possible causes.

They took my bumper off to replace the front offside sensor. Only cost me £250 for the diagnostics, part and fitting. There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley
