Restricted performance

Restricted performance warning on rrsport sdv6 2013. Seems to happen when cold, if driving above 70 mph. When I restart car all ok.
What could be the problem. Had the car six months and has happened twice.

A split intake manifold can cause this error. Realistically you need to have error codes checked and there are a number of possible causes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Mine was a split cross over pipe at the rear of the engine. No codes appeared, just restricted performance. 2018 Telsa MS

The twice I had intermittent fails like the op that cleared on cycling the ignition it was inlet manifolds. That there are many other suggestions is testament to legendary JLR design and quality Smile. Get to a good indy and get the codes read would be my advice.
