Anti Roll Bar arm replacement

Hiya

Does anyone know if a dealer replaced my Front Anti Roll Bars, due to worn bushes if the have to drain or reset the Hydraulic fluid for the ARC Ram at the front ?? of are they completely independent of each other ?

Thanks Rowdie

The ram is built into the ARB. If the bushes are worn, just the bushes should be replaced, not the whole ARB and no fluid is required to be drained, it's just the same as fitting bushes on a standard ARB. Kev

As Kev says, if the bar isn't leaking just have the bushes replaced. They may try to tell you that the bar is worn, but try replacing them with polybushes as they will last a lot longer than gen LR rubber ones. The access is very tight and there is a special tool to undo the bolts. I'm assuming you are using a independent LR specialist garage.
