United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Baltic Blue
Changing Boot Gas Strut (MY2013)

Quick question - how easy is it to change the gas struts on the boot. I've looked on line at a couple of videos and they look fairly straightforward. However, my struts have an extra cable in a plastic sleeve. See below. I cannot see how to change the strut and this wire at the same time. Any suggestions please?

Also, anyone found a reliable supplier for these struts without going to a stealer? I'm struggling to find a website that has parts for an L320 with a VIN that starts DA.

Advance factors are a good bet for an indie and Duckworths for a dealer. Both are sponsors I think. 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)

Powered struts were fitted from VIN No. CA675645 so doesn't need to be DA, Island 4x4 have them for £150.00 each + VAT. or at least they did.

Cheers
