Not heard of crankcase pressure pushing a dipstick out that normally happns on high revving engines when the pistonsrings ae wearing, however as most engines are different i wouldnt rule it out.

Hi, pads were changed last year, so it isnt them, im of work on Wednesday so might be able to find where the leak is coming from 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |

Hi, the problem was that the engine was pressurising, and finding the path of least resistance to get out, which was through through the dipstick.
