I have a v similar issue to this. I haven't checked my compressor yet. Also my car sinks on the suspension if it is left for more than 24 hours, is this the same fault.

Where can I purchase one of these modified compressor lids from?

If you are not lowering it to access mode and then double locking it then it will lower itself slowly as double locking also sends all the systems into sleep mode which helps conserve the battery when parked up for a long time. After parking it you might even hear it give a short "sigh" after locking, this is normal. If you lower the car to access height then it won't lower any further. If you think that you might have a sensor issue than on the nav screen select the 4x4 off-road screen and you will see the height sensors above each wheel showing as white bars on the screen, a fault will show as one of those bars showing red.
It is also possible that one of the rubber "doughnuts" might be slightly perished and leaking - in this case the compressor may be running a lot and you might get the leveling inoperative for periods while the compressor cools down, you will get a warning in the dash info screen to say that the compressor is overheating in the case of it running too much. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi
I'm probably just doing something stupid, but my setup doesn't seem to be the same as the one in the OP's guide.
I can't see anything like the black component with the blue and orange connections.

Mine is a 2012 RR Sport, 3.0 SDV6

I think you will find the difference is because the OP is showing the earlier Hitachi compressor, and your picture is the later AMK type.

Cheers
Col

Hi

Yes, it's the AMK compressor.
Is there a similar known issue / fix for the AMK?

Hi Col-

Appreciate you trying to help.
it's the same as the one that this thread seems to be about.
The air suspension worked fine til recently. Now, it still works fine a lot of the time, but intermittently gives the error "Only Normal Height Available" and it won't raise or lower.
