Cutting out at low speed....

Hi can any on help, I have a 2007 4.4 v8 sport, it has FSH but it keeps cutting out at low speed/ braking, it starts straigt away.

It has been checked and nothing has come up. Could it be a sensor or electrical ?

Hope someone can assist...

Hi yes I have warranty, but they can't find anything wrong. Nothing is showing when they do the diagnostics.

Running the tank low or additive won't resolve this. Is the vehicle won't idle intermittently, ore likely to be fault in idle control than dirt in system which if the case would give other symptoms like misfire. Usual cause of this is vacuum leak, which doesn't always show as a diagnostic fault code. Find somebody with smoke tester, and check this first. I'd find yourself a new garage too, unless they haven't been able to replicate the fault Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Mmmm.... Bite tongue... Try reading what's written, badly admittedly rather than what you think you read Rolling Eyes As I said, dirt or even water in fuel system will not cause intermittent stalling and would be accompanied by other symptoms. Modern fuel systems have at least two filters before main paper fuel filter. Rolling with laughter 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I only suggested RedEx because the old man's Audi cuts out/stalls at low revs, the dealer cannot find anything wrong with it and say it's fine... anyway... a treatment of |RedEx and it's sorted... and now he just gives it a does every 6 months otherwise the symptoms return. RRS gone

check your brake pedal switch if this is faulty it could be an electrical issue thats causing it to cut out

BAck in the day, my Pug Gti would do this too. Turned out to be a blocked crankcase breather pipe. No idea if that's applicable in a newer engine but might be something to check. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
