One issue with Infiniti is that there are very few dealers, a pain if you don't happen to live near one. You can't just assume you will never need to go back!

I have in the recent past bought several cars from new including a Lexus, Mercedes W211 E Class, and 2 x BMW's (E92 and E60) as well as the RRS. The Lexus and Mercedes were by far the most problematic which took many trips to the dealer to try and resolve. Took the car into dealers last Friday and was told that all the fault codes had been removed....Monday morning and lo and behold more F G problems!!!!... I switched on ignition and everything goes haywire clock hands spin round and round main screen flickers out of control then dies!!! Eventually get car started and when driving along the road it gives a big shudder and then flashes up "adaptive suspension fault" WARNING vehicle will lean into corners!!................................I got the car home and am now waiting for LR Assist to come and take it away What a pile of S**T this car is

Hi 4wheeldriver...AA have been out and they have now organised transporter to pick the car up so will just have to sit about until it arrives..Enterprise have also just phoned and are to be dropping off a car here sometime this afternoon. What really worries me is that we go on holiday on Wednesday for 3 weeks and have to rely on the pile of S**T to get us there!!! hopefully we still have the hire car for that

No news yet...although sales manager phoned to say that the car had arrived at dealership and they hoped to look at it this afternoon

Can you not reject it as "not fit for purpose" speak to you local trading standards office

I'd be seriously considering rejecting this vehicle. These problems are not minor and confidence in the vehicle is almost entirely gone.

It really does look not fit for purpose.

The good thing is that if you are ever unfortunate enough to have your car stolen, the police always manage to recover it on the back of a recovery truck  purple people eater

There are no good days, just some days that are not as bad as others!

Got the RRS back tonight just in time for the holidays Anyway... according to the general manager who returned the car in person it seems that all the problems with fault warnings etc have all been down to just a simpe loose battery terminal So with a bit of luck and volcano permitting its Cyprus here we come ......If God forbid we break down on our way to Glasgow airport I have kept his personal mobile number so that i can phone him at 4am to keep him up to date ...
