Tim, cant agree enough. Fed up with my "colleagues" flashing the safety card! Just wish they used their knowledge to provide solutions rather than obstacles. I get paid for doing that as business has to be dynamic, just seems local government HSE is a hinderence to living life - risks are there to be managed to give us the buzz of life!! Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

We have had no garbage collection here for 3 weeks. Why? Because the binmen might slip on the snow........... no alternative was suggested like taking our rubbish to the recycling centre BUT when I suggested that maybe we could take all the wheelie bins 100ft to the main road maybe they would collect and empty them................ the reply was if you can get them there in 20 minutes we will empty them from the main road - me and 2 neighbours had 14 wheeliebins down at the roadside in about 5 minutes, sure enough the truck came and emptied them.
Snow is back on here so that will another fortnight before we get a rubbish collection - because of fresh snow! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The bin men have been on strike here since the second week in December so we have a stash of garbage bags in the garage. The local recycling park has started to charge for recycling since 1st january and already you can see fly tipping along the side roads Sad Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

No Bon Spiel - how rediculous is that. In previous years was the weather any better?

Forecast for the weekend is +8C, get the anti-flooding sandbags out...................................... we had rain in places up here last night. The road I was hoping to take Ash555 over next week, which was snow bound last weekend, is clear today!

I wonder if these are available for RRS as well as Defender, hope thay managed to seal up the door seals properly before setting out on their voyages

After the snow last Feb I bought my wife a pair of Snow Chains for her boots as she walks 4 miles each way to work.

They worked Exclamation Thumbs Up

Perhaps they should issue them to bin men and post men. Apparently they do in germany. TDV6 - gone

Josh I have seen quite a few of those shoe snow chains being used in the last week.................. judging by the age group of the users they must have only been available from Saga....................... Whistle Whistle 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
